Our Mission Statement
WHY POSTPARTUM CARE MATTERS
Without thoughtful planning and support, new mothers struggle during the postpartum time resulting in unhealthy, unhappy mothers at risk of postpartum depression. When mothers suffer, the overall well-being of the community also suffers.
So we have created courses, a guidebook and cookbook teaching basic caregiving skills and traditions that every family needs to know to efficiently and lovingly care for a new mother.
New Mother Caregiving exists because well cared for postpartum mothers and parents builds strong families and societies.
Hi, I'm Shelley!
You, and every mother deserves exquisite care from your family, friends and community.
I’m a mother of three, and have been caring for new mothers for over a decade. I understand their needs and how to meet those needs so that they can rest, heal and enjoy the transition into motherhood.
It is my belief, and what I practice, that if every new parent received exquisite care, postpartum depression numbers would drastically reduce.
My track record is 100%. Not one of the mothers I’ve cared for during their first 40 days after birth have suffered from mental disorders, not even the “baby blues.” On the contrary, the mothers I have been blessed to serve actually cherish their postpartum time, calling it “magical,” “vitally healing” “rejuvenating” and even “blissful!“
I’m excited to share my knowledge and skills with your family so you can cherish your fourth trimester too!
